Foaling season is complete!
I blink my eyes and we have 3 foals on the ground! Flying Free is now 6 weeks old, and such a doll. Follow you around, demand scratches in the kindest way. She has super flashy movement, always uphill and correct in her way of going. Love her to pieces!
Our Diamond Hit mare foaled a Dante Weltino colt - who was sold in-utero to a very happy buyer in Maryland, USA. We are thrilled. This colt has an exceptional canter, so adjustable. A super walk just like moms, and currently likes to 'hide' his trot, but the bits we've seen have been very pleasing. We will try to repeat this cross.
Finally Cindy, our Certus mare, foaled a smashing Buckingham filly on Canada Day. We just had to name her Bonne Fête (Bonnie). She is so leggy, has more white than I was expecting, a very feminine appearance. Gorgeous girl. Very pleased with this newbie.
Both Flying Free and Bonne Fête are for sale. Please contact me if you would like any additional information.
Now we start our breeding season. Daisy and Freebie have cultured clean, so within the next two weeks should be bred. Cindy I think we will try our luck at a foal heat breeding, as she seems to be quite the fertile lady even in her later years.
That is all for now!
